Nordlight is open while we test the mods that make it what it is. You get a server nobody else has; we get players who notice what we missed. That is the whole deal.

What open beta means

A real server, still being shaped

Open to everyone

No password, no application, no whitelist. Find the server and join.

Still being tuned

Numbers move as we learn. Something that feels off today may be fixed by the next restart.

Rough edges

New systems can misbehave. When they do, telling us is the most useful thing you can do.

Your world stays

Characters and bases persist between restarts. Bigger changes are announced on Discord first.

Three steps, no forms

  1. 01Find it. Open the DayZ launcher and search the community servers for “Nordlight”.
  2. 02Join. The launcher downloads the mods for you. No password.
  3. 03Play normally. The best feedback comes from playing the way you always do.
